Serena Williams, 35, and Lewis Hamilton, 31, sparked major romance rumors when they stepped out holding hands at the Formula One Mexican Grand Prix, Oct. 30! However, let’s pump the brakes on this relationship buzz, because HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY learned that Serena and Lewis are the furthest thing from a couple. In fact, they’re just “good friends and in no way romantically involved,” a rep for Lewis told us. So, it looks like those PDA pics were just all in the name of friendship. Ugh.

Serena and Lewis were seen smiling ear-to-ear, as they cozied up together, and the internet went crazy over a potential new couple. But, it looks like they were just celebrating his Grand Prix win. The champion driver took home his 51st career win at the highly anticipated event, and he obviously celebrated his victory with A-list company.

We’re not surprised these two are very close. They’ve both made it very clear that they have star-studded squads. While we do think Serena and Lewis would make the hottest Hollywood couple, we’re going to have to retire these hopes, and try to move on.
