It’s over! The 12 year union between stunning Kate Beckinsale, 43, and Len Wiseman, also 43, is dunzo, as the director has reportedly filed for divorce from the British beauty. According to TMZ, in newly filed divorce papers Len cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the sad split. The documents state that neither party is requesting spousal support, which the site says hints that they likely had a prenuptial agreement. How sad, these two made such a handsome and talented couple.

The pair had such a fairytale beginning, falling in love on the set of the film Underworld back in 2003 when Len directed Kate in the vampire vs. werewolves flick, then marrying a year later. He directed her again in the film’s sequel Underworld Evolution and produced three more subsequent films in Kate’s franchise.

This should be a pretty uncomplicated split as the pair didn’t have any kids, even though they are still tied together professionally on the Underworld series. Kate has a 17-year-old daughter Lily from her eight year romance with actor Michael Sheen, with who she still remains very close.
The pair reportedly separated in Nov. 2015, with the news coming after Len was spotted out in LA on apparent dates with much younger model C.J. Franco, 25, and not wearing his wedding ring. At the time, a source told People magazine, “They are still friendly and spend time together in L.A. when Kate is there There has been no drama. It’s just not Kate’s style. They have both had complicated schedules and have grown apart.” The source also claimed the couple has actually been separated for several months at the time the news broke that they had consciously uncoupled.
