This is SO crazy! An anonymous person reportedly called LAPD on Oct. 12 and claimed Adam Levine, 37, was abusing his wife Behati Prinsloo, 27, and their infant daughter Dusty Rose, 4 weeks, according to TMZ. However, after investigating these claims, LA cops have officially found these allegations to be completely FALSE — phew!

The tipster apparently told LAPD’s Juvenile Division that the Voice coach hit his baby girl in the face. The caller also alluded to allegations of domestic assault as they claimed Adam had struck Behati so hard that the force knocked her to the ground! How scary is THAT?

But once cops paid the Levine family a visit, law enforcement was able to speak to Adam’s model wife, and they found no visible injuries to either her or little Dusty. After meeting with the family, investigators determined the claims were totally unfounded. And honestly, we’re not surprised that these horrific allegations were untrue. Even sources close to Adam could reportedly never believe something like that.
In fact, his friends, according to the media outlet, believe it’s “unfair that being in the public eye means you sometimes fall victim to false, atrocious allegations.” But luckily Adam understands that sometimes false claims come with the territory of stardom. TMZ sources reportedly say that after all is said and done, he “appreciates and respects” the LAPD and he’s glad they “promptly concluded the claims were untrue.”
There will be no further investigation, according to the outlet, and this entire investigation is considered closed. But even still, talk about a nightmare! After all, this is certainly the LAST thing Adam and Behati need after welcoming their first child just last month. The two have no doubt been super busy caring for Dusty Rose and obviously they both love her very much — we definitely can’t imagine Adam harming his little girl.
