Brad Pitt, 52, could not be more upset about his current situation. Now that his divorce from Angelina Jolie, 41, is on the fast track to being finalized and they have come to a temporary agreement regarding their children, the actor is baffled at what his life has become.
The father of six is “totally crushed” that his family has broken, a source tells Us Weekly. Brad “can’t believe” that this is his and Angelina’s reality now, and he’s desperately “hanging onto” his kids in an effort to keep it together. “His mom has been talking to him constantly,” the source shared.
Even though Brad is so upset, the source explained that he is ready to “cooperate” in any way he can with the investigation into alleged child abuse. “He loves those kids more than anything,” the source added.
The source also shared that Brad has been “leaning” on his family non-stop, especially his mom, Jane Pitt. “He’s been leaning heavily on his family and speaks to his parents and close friends and his manager constantly,” the source said. It sucks that Brad, Angelina and their children are going through this right now, but hopefully everything will be resolved soon and they can figure out their new normal.
