When asked about a Ryan and Ella romance, Ryan Guzman, 26, was very coy with HollywoodLife.com. “There’s always potential with Aimee Teegarden, 26,” he told us at PaleyFest 2016. “She’s a beautiful person. We’ll see! But I would bet on our characters maybe intertwining. Maybe!”

Well, according to Aimee, these two are going to get physical. “Her relationship with Ryan, which in the pilot is a bit scandalous,” she said. “So we sort of get to see how their relationship bobs and weaves and becomes a little more physical.”
We are so here for that! However, Aimee noted that Ryan and Ella may be “using each other for good and bad.” Let’s be honest, some of the best relationships come from people who were frenemies at first. When Ryan first met Ella, he was trying to get scoop on a story. Ryan and Ella like to test each other, that’s for sure.
Aimee also revealed that we’re going to learn a whole lot more about Ella Benjamin. “Throughout the season, we get to explore Ella’s colorful past and why is what she is,” she said. “Obviously being a lawyer, there’s a reason you get into the industry. So we get to know a little more about that. And then you’ll get Ella kind of in action a lot more. Working with a lot more clients and getting her hands dirty.”
