“Her new album is imminent and she is working on supporting it with a huge world tour and she wants to get the word out for not only that, but also A Star Is Born and American Horror Story. She wants 2017 to be the year of Gaga and a performance on the biggest stage of the year would be exactly what she has in mind.” A Super Bowl halftime performance would surely have the world buzzing about her for months, and all that energy will help carry over to all her other amazing projects! And it’s not like she hasn’t been to the big show before, as she blew away fans by singing the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50.
“Discussions over timing, budget and other logistics is what is happening now, but they are close. One discussion that has been addressed is if she should do it alone or with someone else,” our insider adds. “She is considering both but leaning towards bringing someone else on stage with her. Because Katy did that, Madonna did that so it isn’t out of the box to add people to the performance. She hasn’t officially signed on yet but they want her to make her decision before Thanksgiving and all signs are pointing that she will be doing it.”

Mother Monster has such a gigantic year ahead of her and singing in front of over 100 million people would be her biggest audience ever! She can totally own a stage like nobody’s business and her theatrical performances would be perfect in such an epic setting like the Super Bowl halftime show.
