1. She’s a huge actress in Mexico. Since taking their romance public, Josh Duhamel, 45, and Eiza González, 28, are happy to engage in PDA for all the world to see. The once rumored couple was spotted passionately kissing in Mexico. Hot! Speaking of Mexico, Eiza first became famous in her native country thanks to her starring role as Lola on the teen musical telenovela Lola…Érase una vez. She played Nikki Brizz Balvanera on the show True Love. She also starred in the TV adaptation of Quentin Tarantino‘s movie, From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series. She plays the character Salma Hayak played in the film, Santánico Pandemonium.
Eiza has also been blowing up on the big screen. Fans would recognize her from Edgar Wright‘s latest roller coaster ride, Baby Driver. She portrayed Monica “Darling” Castello. A producer offered Eiza one of the leading roles in the Mexican remake of Gossip Girl, called Gossip Girl: Acapulco, but she had to decline due to scheduling conflicts. She would have played Sofía López-Haro — their version of Serena Van Der Woodsen).
3. She’s a singer, too. After her impressive run on the musical Lola…Érase una vez, Eiza recorded a solo album, called Contracorriente (counter-current) in 2008. The single “Mi Destino Soy Yo” got major traction. She recorded a second album, called Te Acordarás de Mí, in 2011.
4. She’s the face of several cosmetics brands. Eiza was named the face of Color Trend de Avon for Avon cosmetics in 2008. She was then an ambassador for Asepxia in Mexico in 2009. She became an ambassador for Neutrogena cosmetics in 2015, as well.
5. She used to date Liam Hemsworth and was romantically linked to Calvin Harris and Cristiano Ronaldo. So, she’s flirted with a soccer superstar, dated a major movie star and was romantically linked to one of the biggest DJs in the world. Nice. Before being linked to Calvin Harris in 2016, Eiza was in a high-profile, short lived, relationship with Liam Hemsworth in 2013.
