Even though the 22-year-old “Cold Water” singer and the 19-year-old model were “never officially a couple,” the source claims that their circle of friends “knew they were together.” The biggest knife to the gut? Hailey’s friends believe that his alleged new girlfriend, Sofia, 17, forced Justin to unfollow the model, according to the source.
Hailey had been linked to rapper Drake, 29, after his Memorial Day party in May, and after that Justin and his ex stopped talking for a few months, according to the source. “Bieber wasn’t happy about it, and so they haven’t really been in touch in a bit. But out of nowhere, Sofia apparently made him unfollow Hailey and now she and her friends are all super upset.” We can totally understand how hurt Hailey would be if Sofia really was to blame for the unfollow, though Justin unfollowing her in itself is heartbreaking.

On Aug. 14, Hailey wrote a long post on Instagram that seemed to be in reference to the drama-filled situation. “We’ve all had our fair share of things we’ve done, both good and bad. What makes the present so powerful is when we take complete responsibility for our actions, we allow ourselves self-growth,” she wrote. “Misplacing the blame onto someone else isn’t going to get you to the next stage in life, so try not to manipulate a situation to make yourself look better. The truth always come to light, so it’s better just to own it.” However, that post has since been deleted. So now we have no idea what’s up.
