‘It is categorically untrue. It is that simple.” Lisa’s rep said in a statement following Radar‘s bombshell claims on June 13 that she left the Dirty Dancing star “imprisoned in a house of horrors – deserted by his cheating, abusive wife, who left the dying star to wallow in his own filth!” Wow, those are some pretty bold accusations that were made by a supposed”friend” of Patrick’s. The couple was married for 34 years and was widely believed to have one of the most stable marriages in Hollywood, which makes these allegations so shocking. Especially since why now are these claims being made nearly seven years after his passing?
When asked if Lisa would hit her hubby during his 21-month cancer battle, the friend told the site,“Oh yeah, it didn’t matter. She wouldn’t hit him with stuff — she would claw at his arms and neck. She would punch and slap him.” The pal added, “As he got sick, he was defenseless.”
Another family friend also alleged that Lisa wouldn’t allow his mom Patsy to see him in the two months prior to his death, and wouldn’t let Patrick leave their house. “She wouldn’t even let him go outside the ranch… She pretty much kept him prisoner,” the pal told Radar. You’d think if this “friend” was so concerned about Patrick, he would have come forward sooner if these claims where really true. Patrick’s mom died in 2013 so there’s no one left to confirm or refute the crazy allegations against Lisa. How convenient.

These claims seem so far out of left field as Lisa helped Patrick write his memoir “The Time of My Life,” while he was dying, and went on to write her own book about the last months together before his passing called “Worth Fight For” where she went into great detail about the grief she suffered with his passing. That sure doesn’t sound like someone who was abusing her ailing husband.
