‘Scream’: Brooke & Stavo’s Relationship — Stars Talk ‘Ying & Yang’ – Hollywood Life

‘Scream’ Scoop: Go Inside Stavo & Brooke’s ‘Yin & Yang’ Relationship

With last night's episode of 'Scream' reassuring how creepy newcomer Stavo is, you should probably prep yourself -- you may warm up to him soon. Santiago Segura came into season two of Scream like a wrecking ball -- the new sexy, suspicious guy in school, Stavo, first was creepily drawing in class and on this week's episode, basically started following Brooke around town. However, the future may not be so creepy.

Santiago told us that the Stavo and Brooke actually do “see eye to eye,” since they both have some trauma in their pasts.

“She’s already in this frictionless downward spiral going into a darker place and Gustavo obviously has a darker perspective on things, so they kind meet at the right time,” he told HollywoodLife.com during a set visit. He also agreed that yes, they’re “an unlikely couple,” but it could work.

“I think they actually kinda become yin and yang for each other,” he told us. “I think it’s kind of sweet! Hopefully we’ll get opportunities to actually flesh out a real relationship between these two people, but I think they get each other more than you think they will, initially. That was something I thought was cool –actually seeing a ‘real couple’ develop.”

Wait, a couple?! Well now that Jake’s officially gone (still heartbroken, BTW), it would make sense she wants to move on. Also, he better be careful because her boyfriends don’t have the best experience with, uh, living. However he also told us that just because he’s creepy, that doesn’t mean he’s dangerous.

“These pictures are something he needs to do; it’s just serving some need that he has internally. I don’t know as an actor, whether it’s the kind of thing where he wants to be violent or actually hurt someone, or if it’s something he’s interested in, kind of fascinated by,” Santiago said. “Stavo is someone who’s drawn into the darkness. He’s just someone who’s into it for artistic reasons or whether he’s actually trying to play some of the stuff out. Everyone has these blurred lines.”

Alright, do you think Stavo could still be the killer?
