We’re so excited for Eugena for becoming the very first Playmate of the Year since the magazine’s revamping (and nixing of full nudity.) The model is absolutely gorgeous, and completely stunned on the cover of the June issue of the glossy magazine on May 11, when it was revealed that fans had voted her in as 2016’s hottest lady.
Eugena looks absolutely gorgeous on the mag, appearing topless on an orange float in a blue body of water with a drink in her hand and her hair cascading beautifully down her back.
“It’s a great time for this. The world is changing. I hope this brings different eyes to the magazine and new audiences,” Eugena told Playboy. “This is a story and a chapter in my life to build around. I’m enjoying the ride, and right now, I’m doing whatever I want to do, day by day. That’s how I live. That’s what my life is about. As long as I’m doing what I want to do, I’m happy. Right now, being part of Playboy is what I want to do.
Eugena appeared in Playboy for the first time in Dec. 2015, when she was featured as Playmate of the Month. She got her jumpstart in modeling as a contestant on Cycle 7 of America’s Next Top Model, and finished in the Top 3. And look at how far she’s come now!
Each year, the June cover of the men’s magazine holds the gorgeous photo of the woman voted on by fans to become the PMOY. Some incredible women have had the honor of Playmate of the Year in the past. Jenny McCarthy posed in the 1994 issue of Playboy, and Anna Nicole Smith was the star of 1993. However, this year will be slightly different because the PMOY was always featured in a nude photo shoot. Now, Playboy has done away with full nudity. Congrats Eugena on being a trailblazer!
