Poor Joe! The hunky Magic Mike actor was rushed to the hospital with appendicitis, and when the doctors began operating they found out things were worse than they thought, a source told TMZ. They said his appendix may have burst, leading to the emergency surgery. Yikes!
Joe is doing okay now, but he’s currently still in the hospital. This isn’t the only health issue the hunk has been dealing with, either. He also ripped a bicep on the set of Magic Mike which has created ongoing problems for him. However, his rep told TMZ that it was a “chronic condition” that halted an event on Sunday.

On top of that, Us Weekly reported on April 14 that Joe was forced to drop out of filming for Six, a new History Channel show with a grueling schedule where he was supposed to play a Navy SEAL. Clearly he just needs to some down time before his health and body really suffer.
Maybe he should jet back to the COMO island resort where he and Sofia spent their honeymoon back in Dec.. The pair looked so happy and relaxed back then, it looks like Joe could use a little more sunshine and TLC before getting back to work and pushing his body any more. We’re just glad to hear he;s okay!
