Hilary Duff Wears Teenie Weenie Shorts To Pick Up Son From School: Too Sexy or A-Ok?

Hilary Duff thought she was doing other moms a favor when she showed off a chic and stylish look that she wore to pick up her son from school. Only her itty bitty shorts caught the ire of some of her followers for being too risqué for being around little kids. Uh oh! Hilary Duff, 28 has learned the hard way that wearing booty shorts to pick her four-year-old son Luca Comrie from school may not have been the most appropriate look. The actress thought she was inspiring other moms to get out of their sweats and wear something super cute on their school runs by posting an Instagram photo of her outfit, but she took a whole world of heat instead.

“Hey moms! I came up with a semi cute outfit for school drop off! I usually roll in sweat pants or lulu lemons and look like a disaster but this morning I managed to throw something cute together and I thought would share. Cut offs or jeans. A light weight trench over a sweater or tee, cross body bag sneaks or booties and a pair of Sunnies! Now you try! Tag me in your photo” the Younger star captioned a selfie April 5.

It showed her chic look, but her shorts were WAY too short for what many people thought was appropriate for being around preschoolers, and fans let her know in a big way with their comments. User nrafacz24 said “I would be humiliated if my mom showed up to pick me up in booty shorts. Those look like freaking underwear,” while jenbiromeikle noted “pretty sure we wouldn’t be allowed in the school to drop off or pick up our kids if we wore this!”

bleepzter claimed “You call this cute?!? A lady of class and substance wouldn’t be caught wearing this even in her worst hair day…” while andreacourtney15 noted,”Um sweetie you have no pants on…. Other than that totally down with the tips” OUCH!

But not everyone was a hater, as she had plenty of fans that had her back! bcolbert1978 worte, “I love the outfit!! As women we should empower, not insult. What is wrong with us? We need to move forward.” while erikalovesbunny noted, “Omg people. Do we really need to bash on someone who is clearly having a good day? She looks great BTW.”

HollywoodLifers, what do YOU think? Are her shorts too short for a school run? Take our poll!
