Kai (real name Kim Jong-in) and Krystal (real name Krystal Jung) confirmed their relationship on April 1st, according to Soompi.com. Their romance was made official in a statement from SM Entertainment, (Kai and Krystal’s entertainment company) which said, “the two were close friends and began having feelings for each other this year.”

Awww! Kai and Krystal sparked dating rumors around February, as the two were photographed stepping out of a car together, per All K-Pop. The two reportedly met after one of Kai’s EXO concert, and dined at one of Krystal’s favorite crab restaurants, according to the International Business Times. Well, a way to a woman’s heart is through her stomach. Hopefully, Kai paid for the meal.

Whether they split the bill or not, it seemed to spark an international love affair. These two reportedly had secret dates both in and outside of their native homeland of Korea, and the confirmation of the relationship caused K-Pop fans to dub this new couple “Kaistal.” How very cute! Be sure you celebrate Kaistal by streaming all the K-Pop you can find .

Kai’s part of the boy-band EXO, which debuted in 2012 with twelve members, before separating into EXO-K and EXO-M (Kai’s in EXO-K, just so that you know.) Currently, there are nine members, including Chanyeol, 23, Xiumin, 26, and Chen, 23. There aren’t that many singers in Krystal’s K-pop girl group, f(x), and her career kicked off in 2009, after training for three years at S.M. Entertainment. She was actually cast in a Chinese movie along with EXO’s Lay, 24, but it seems the only leading man in her life is Kai.

What do you think about Kaistal being real, HollywoodLifers? Are you excited?
