But, seriously, the 23-year-old is literally saying he “f***ed around” during the relationship! He previously denied reports that he cheated on Perrie, so this is a pretty big deal — but is it right of him to blame her for his actions?!
Obviously, this is far from the only reference to the Little Mix singer on Mind Of Mine. He also calls her “cold-hearted” in “Like I Would,” claims he “doubted” her in “Rear View,” and claims she “plays with” his “heart” in “Blue,” among many others. Overall, the album is a complete jam, and Zayn proved that he’s totally moving on in the best way exactly one year after he decided to leave One Direction for good.
Of course, we weren’t surprised that Perrie was the majority subject on the album…Zayn even admitted it himself. “There’s a lot of falling in love and a lot of falling out of love,” he told Complex. “It’s probably 60/40, falling out of love.” That means the other 40% is totally about his new gal, Gigi Hadid, 20. Awwww!
