“Love how people feel liberated naked,” he tweeted. “Read a book liberate your brain.” Hundreds of people immediately started freaking out over the message, thinking the 23-year-old was being sarcastic in the first half, and insinuating that those who strip naked for the public aren’t smart in the second half. But he quickly cleared things up.
“This is not shade,” he added. “Love..liberate yourself with education and learn to love everyone’s expression..I said love, how exactly is that shade ? Explanation done.” Followers still weren’t catching on, though, so Zayn retweeted another fan to get his point across. “I think what Zayn meant to say was he loves that people feel liberated naked and the people who shame them should liberate their brain,” the tweet read. Okay, okay, now it makes sense, right?!
Kim sent the Internet into a frenzy on March 7 by posting a throwback mirror selfie of herself completely naked, and a LOT of celebrities made sure to share their opinions about the image. Shade or not, Zayn is a littttttle late to the game when it comes to commenting on this one, but we’re glad he didn’t mean any harm with his message!
