After an opening from Coldplay and Bruno, Bey was front and center on the football field with a whole group of dancers behind her, to perform her new hit, “Formation,” which she released as a surprise just one day before the big game. Wearing a black bodysuit and jacket that paid homage to Michael Jackson, the 34-year-old beyond killed it while busting out her dance moves — and it only got better from there.
Bey eventually made her way to the stage with Bruno’s “Uptown Funk” playing in the background, and the two indulged in the dance-off of all dance-offs, one-upping each other with each and every move. And Beyonce proved to be the ULTIMATE queen when she totally saved herself from falling flat on her butt in the middle of the whole thing, quickly catching herself and making it all look like a planned move. She can do no wrong!
As if all of this wasn’t already amazing enough, Beyonce gave her fans yet another gift after hitting the stage — she announced her Formation world tour, which kicks off on April 27! There were a whole lot of other epic moments from the Super Bowl broadcast, but we’ll be reminiscing about this Beyonce performance for a LONG time to come.
