“Harry thinks it’s called “Pillowtalk” because the song puts you to sleep,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He really doesn’t think that it is as good as anything that 1D has done with or without Zayn.” OUCH, kinda harsh, no!? Sorry, Harry, we love ya, but we have to disagree with you on this one — “Pillowtalk” is totally amazing!

After months of teasing fans about new music, the 23-year-old finally released his debut single on Jan. 29, and revealed that his first album, Mind of Mine, will drop on March 25. If that date sounds significant to you, here’s why: It’s the exact one-year anniversary of when Zayn announced he’d be leaving One Direction last year! He’s clearly taking this whole rebirth thing pretty seriously, huh!?

Along with the song’s audio, Zayn also dropped the video, which features his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, 20. The two indulge in some super hot makeout sessions in the vid, and took to Twitter after its premiere to flirt back and forth about how good they each looked in the clip. Fans are totally going crazy over this new music, so regardless of what Harry and 1D have to say, it looks like Zayn is on his way to success!
