Fans of Amy’s Comedy Central series Inside Amy Schumer have loved the comedian for months, but the rest of the world really got to know her thanks to the hit 2015 film, Trainwreck, which she wrote and starred in. Her hilarious antics and friendship with Jennifer Lawrence totally skyrocketed her to fame, and with an Emmy already in her pocket and a Golden Globe nomination, there’s definitely going to be no slowing down for the hilarious actress in 2016.
Speaking of J.Law, she also makes the cut (no surprise). The final Hunger Games installment came out at the end of this year, and she’s made award season buzz yet again for her role in Joy. Yeah…Jen’s not going ANYWHERE. Another one of the 25-year-old’s pals, Adele, falls on the list, too: After a long hiatus, she made a HUGE comeback in 2015 thanks to the release of her album 25 and its hit single “Hello.”
Moving over to another A-list squad, we’ll start things off with Selena, who totally killed it this year with the debut of her most grown up and buzzed-about album yet, Revival. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that she’s looking hotter than ever these days, too! Her bestie, Taylor Swift, came off an incredible 2014, and didn’t slow down at all, hitting the road for eight months and wowing fans all over the world. Oh, and her relationship with Calvin Harris lasted throughout all of 2015, which is a major accomplishment for her (WE TOTALLY SHIP IT)!

Gigi Hadid and her BFF, Kendall Jenner, also killed it over the last 12 months, closing the year off by having one of their biggest dreams come true: Walking in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
