In an interview with Rolling Stone, published online on Nov. 3, Adele said she is gearing up for life on the road. To gain stamina and energy for her tour, she is cutting back on sugar and some, but not all carbs: “I’d never deprive myself like that!”
“I mainly moan,” she laughed about her workout routine. “I’m not, like, skipping to the f**king gym. I don’t enjoy it. I do like doing weights. I don’t like looking in the mirror. Blood vessels burst on my face really easily, so I’m so conscious when I’m lifting weights not to let them burst in my face. And if I don’t tour, you’ll catch me back down at the Chinese!”

In November, Adele told The Spectrum’s Jenny Eliscu during a SiriusXM Town Hall: “I do have body image problems, for sure, but I don’t let them rule my life at all…There’s bigger issues going on in the world than how I feel about myself and stuff like that.”
