When a fan asked Keyshia if she would like to work with anyone on her next album on Twitter, she immediately snapped back. “Chris Brown would’ve been awesome. But he keeps saying no. Like 4 times already: so I’m done with asking,” she wrote. Whoa, it seems Chris’ rejection has made Keyshia a little bitter!
But why has Chris has turned Keyshia down so many times? She wasn’t afraid to give the explanation! “He just wanted me to try something different,” she responded to another fan. “Something more pop.” Although it’s kind of silly for him to completely refuse to collab, but maybe Chris just doesn’t think a collab with him would work very well and he’s just looking out for her!
Even though Keyshia is clearly bummed that Chris doesn’t want to work with her, she admitted that she’s “proud of him” for his growth as an artist. So there might not be any bad blood between them after all!
Whatever the reason may be for Chris to turn down a duet, it is somewhat surprising that Chris wouldn’t want to sing with someone as talented as Keyshia. Besides, he just collaborated with someone rather random for his latest music video: Scott Disick! That’s right, Lord Disick stars as Chris’ party-starting friend in his “Picture Me Rollin” vid. One would think that if he wants to work with Scott, Chris would also want to work with Keyshia! Maybe Chris will change his mind in the future, but it sounds like he’ll need to go to her — like she declared, she’s done asking!
