Robert Pattinson Slams ‘Demon’ Haters Over Racist Comments About FKA Twigs

Some fans need to get over the fact that Robert Pattinson is engaged to FKA Twigs. The 'Twilight' heart throb is slamming internet users as 'demons who live in basements' after they posted racist messages about his sweetheart. Robert Pattinson, 29, is very chivalrous when it comes to his future bride. He's defending the honor of his fiancee, singer FKA Twigs, 27, against some nasty racist internet hate! Twigs has a Jamaican father and a Spanish/English mother and he can't understand why some of his fans have a problem with him being in love with someone of mixed race.

In a new interview, Robert finally opens up about his love life, a subject he almost never talks about. He tells New Music Express that FKA is “just an amazing, amazing artist.” But one thing he can’t tolerate is the shade thrown her way by fans of his past relationship with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, 25. Twi-hards just need to LET GO!

“I was talking to my dad about this and I bet him that if he looked up Nelson Mandela’s funeral on YouTube, the first comment would be a racist one,” R-Patz said about the Internet world. “And it was, with like a million up votes. What I don’t get is why. I think it’s because most normal people are not commenters — I’ve never met anyone who’s left a comment on anything. It’s just demons who live in basements” WOW! Since the internet world is filled with Twi-hards, this is a serious swipe.

Twigs herself said she was “shocked and disgusted” by the messages she received because of her relationship with Rob. And while he really hates discussing his personal life, he can’t hide his anger at those who shade his fiancée. “You have this weird thing where you end up trying to fight against this faceless blob, where the more you hate it, the bigger it gets, because it’s all in your head” Rob shared.

The couple was introduced by mutual friend Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine in Sept. 2014. The relationship moved at a lightning pace with the couple getting engaged this past April. The news broke the hearts of Twilight fans everywhere who had hoped that he’d reunite with K-Stew, despite the fact she cheated on him her Snow White And The Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, in 2012.

HollywoodLifers, do you like Robert and FKA Twigs as a couple?
