Jamie Lee Curtis Reenacts ‘Psycho’ Scene Her Mom Did — For ‘Scream Queens’: PIC – Hollywood Life

Jamie Lee Curtis Reenacts Mom’s Famous ‘Psycho’ Scene For ‘Scream Queens’ — Pic

Just when you thought Jamie Lee Curtis couldn't get any better, she takes to Twitter to recreate the most epic horror scene ever -- that was done by her mother! She may play the dean in Scream Queens, but we all know Jamie Lee Curtis is the ultimate queen herself! The actress, 56, whose first role was in Halloween, earning her the "scream queen" title in 1978, took to Twitter to share a sneak peek of her character on Fox's new show -- and she's reenacting that scene that her mother, Janet Leigh did in Psycho in 1960! You have to see this.

“Recreated Mom’s PSYCHO shower scene 4 a special ep of @ScreamQueens 📷@JOAQUINSEDILLO #ScreamQueens Tues 9/22 8pm FOX,” she captioned the Twitter photo on Sept. 15. Naturally, in the pic, she’s in the shower (appearing naked) and screaming. In her hand is the photo of her mother doing that same scream.

Plus, we know there’s another moment that will take place in episode two, that will be “a wordless homage” to her Halloween character. It’s Jamie’s way for her to be “tipping of my hat to all of you Laurie Strode lovers out there,” she said during Comic Con.[jwplatform xyITw66c]

She also added during TCA in Los Angeles that while the show has the horror element, it’s so funny she has a hard time not laughing. So, usually she has a toothpick of a safety pin in her hand to poke herself with so she doesn’t laugh. Ouch!  We basically can not wait for the show, which also stars Lea MicheleEmma Roberts, Abigail Breslin, and Nick Jonas (just to name a few).

While EPs Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk know who the red devil killer is, the characters do not — they have all shot a scene of them as the killer, to keep them all guessing. Talk about making it fun on set!  Are you excited for the show, HollywoodLifers?
