Looks like Harry Styles decided to add another piece of ink to his ever growing tattoo collection! The One Direction singer was spotted with a new and mysterious tattoo of a broken heart on his chest. What’s the meaning behind his tiny chest piece?

Harry Styles, 21, is no stranger to tattoos — just take a look at all the other pieces of ink on his body! The singer added a tiny tattoo of a broken heart to his chest and it’s certainly making people wonder who inspired the tat. Was a particular heartbreak from the past that Harry wanted to commemorate or what?

Does another person hold the other half to this broken heart tattoo? We need answers, Harry! The 21-year-old was spotted spending his off time shirtless and by the pool in Chicago on Aug. 23 before One Direction’s show later that night. While it’s normal to see Harry with all those tattoos on his body, in an up close picture, the singer actually revealed a new piece of ink added to his collection. Harry hasn’t really been linked with anyone serious lately. The furthest he’s gone with a lady is following her on Instagram because he thinks she’s cute! However, hearts don’t necessarily have to represent something romantic.

The meaning of the tattoo could be related to One Direction’s song, “Half A Heart,” from their Midnight Memories album! However, it doesn’t really add up. Considering that Midnight Memories came out in 2013, why would it take Harry two years to permanently add half a heart to his body if that song meant something to him? It could also be a reminder of how he and the rest of the One Direction guys broke their fans hearts when plans for their break were announced.

In fact, an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that the guys just need a little break. “It is not over, they just need a break.
