‘Scream’ Recap: Emma’s Traumatized After Will’s Shocking Death

Emma is having a hard time dealing with the brutal death of her ex-boyfriend, Will. And when she was hospitalized for having hallucinations on the Aug. 18 episode of 'Scream,' Emma learned she has a secret sibling. Plus, Brooke seemingly got attacked by Mr. Seth Branson. We still can't believe Will (Connor Weil) is dead, but so much happened on the Aug. 18 episode of Scream that we almost forgot about his gruesome death. (Almost!) Emma (Willa Fitzgerald) started seeing gory images of a newly deceased Will, which eventually landed her in the hospital. And it was there that she learned her mother had a baby with Brandon James and gave it up for adoption. So who's her secret sibling? Let the guessing game begin!

This week, we finally got some answers to a lot of our burning questions, but now we’re just dying to know more. As Emma struggled with the death of Will, she returned to school against her mom’s (Tracy Middendorf) better judgement. Noah (John Karna) and Audrey (Bex Taylor-Klaus) noticed Emma acting weird, but she kept her hallucinations to herself. Well, for as long as she could. They eventually got so bad — a dead Will kept chasing her and smashing hearts — that she was admitted to the hospital. While there, Emma imagined seeing her dad. During his “visit” to her hospital room, she remembered being a child and hearing her parents fighting about a baby. She thought the fight was about her, but her “dad” told her it was never about her. So after doing some digging, Emma realized her mom had a baby with Brandon James. When she confronted her mom about it, Maggie said she gave the baby away and it was a closed adoption. So who is Emma’s secret sibling? Our guess is Audrey, but it could also be Piper whose dad died years ago. That would make sense since Brandon James was allegedly killed by police when he and Daisy were teens.

Elsewhere in Lakewood, a nervous Piper (Amelia Rose Blaire) showed the video of the mayor transporting a body to the sheriff (Jason Wiles). She was worried he might be behind Will’s death, so the police arrested him and brought him in for questioning. Once at the precinct, the mayor revealed he was simply transporting the body of his wife’s friend. Apparently, his wife and the friend were doing drugs together and the friend overdosed. In order to keep his wife’s lifestyle a secret and to “protect the town,” the mayor hid the body. Also, Brooke’s mom really is in rehab — she talked to her on the phone. So as of right now, the mayor is cleared of being the killer. But he’s still locked up for covering up a death and hiding the body.

Overwhelmed with emotions, Brooke (Carlson Young) met up with Mr. Seth Brandon, whom Noah and Audrey still think is the killer, after he was done with drama rehearsals. She said she wanted to forget everything and feel nothing, so they started ripping each other’s clothes off. Eventually, they moved to the stage, behind the curtain, where a nice leather couch was waiting for them. In the middle of their hot and heavy, half-naked makeout session, Seth heard a noise. When he went to check on it, the curtains rose, the lights went on and Brooke was left alone, in her underwear, under a spotlight. She soon saw a shadowy figure in the distance and as it got closer, she realized it was the killer. He sliced her arm open before she ran away. Once she lost sight of the killer, Mr. Branson swooped in to “save the day.” But at the same time, the cops rushed in because Audrey and Noah found a knife in Mr. Branson’s classroom. So they were looking for him anyway. Good news for Brooke, but was Mr. Branson the one who was attacking her? By the look on her face, she seemed to think so.

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Who’s Emma’s secret sibling: Audrey or Piper? Or could it be someone else? Vote in our poll and tell us how you feel! Also, do you think Mr. Branson attacked Brooke?
