There’s a lot going on in the first trailer, but that’s OK, we’re intrigued. In the teaser’s opening moments, a unseen voice asks Evan’s character, Dolores, “Do you know where you are?” Dolores replies, “I’m in a dream.” She’s desperate to get out of the dream, but the mysterious voice tells her that she must answer one question: “Have you ever questioned the nature of your reality?”

That’s when we get a glimpse of two very different worlds. One is of the Wild Wild West, featuring spacious frontier landscapes, saloons and bloody pianos. The other is a world much further into the future, filled with skeleton-like robots and more. The show is based on the 1973 sci-fi film written and directed by Michael Crichton

Westworld is a theme park where visitors can indulge in their fantasies with humanlike androids. However, it seems like this place is going to stir up some serious trouble. HBO revealed that the show is “a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin.”

Anthony plays Dr. Robert Ford, the creator of Westworld. Evan, James Marsden and Thandie Newton are the show’s androids, according to The Hollywood ReporterWestworld also stars Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright and Ben Barnes.
