Kaitlyn Bristowe has to make a really hard decision on ‘The Bachelorette’ finale, but one was extremely easy: the dress. She looked absolutely gorgeous in a sleeveless, nude, floor-length gown with an amazing slit!
All season long, Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s go-to designer for her dates has been Mac Duggal — and the finale wasn’t any different. The 30-year-old showed off her curve in a high-neck and high-slit gown with absolutely gorgeous embellishment all over. Plus, her stylist recently revealed that the exposing slit in the gown was actually Kaitlyn’s idea!
“It was one of the first dresses I tried on before the season even started, when I was trying to find my night one gown. When I put it on, I fell in love with it so fast,” Kaitlyn told Yahoo! Style about the gown she went with for the finale. Her stylist, Cary Fetman also added that Kaitlyn wanted to wear it on night one, but she told her it was too warm and open for night one. So, to the final night it went.
“It’s just a beautiful dusty rose gown that has a sheer back and front,” Cary said. “It has beautiful netting and it’s all embroidered with white flowers and silver leaves. It’s a high neck, almost a slight mock neck and then we made a very high slit that is double-tiered. There was already a slit there, but it wasn’t as spectacular as it became. So the higher we went on the slit, the more it became Kaitlyn’s dress rather than the original concept of the dress. And that’s pretty much what we did with Kaitlyn all season.”
They also revealed that they altered a lot of her dresses this season to make them more flattering shapes for her body or to just match her personal style more. Either way, it definitely worked — she looks absolutely stunning. It’s not surprising 26 men wanted to win her love! Did you love her look, HollywoodLifers?
