Brock was three seconds away from regaining his WWE Heavyweight Championship from Seth Rollins on July 19, reports BleacherReport.  After hitting his ‘F5’ finishing move, Brock went for the pin. Suddenly, a gong rang and the lights went out. The WWE Universe knew it could only mean one thing! It was the Undertaker, who was seeking revenge on Brock Lesnar!

Brock broke the Undertaker’s streak of Wrestlemania victories, beating the Deadman at Wrestlemania 30 in 2014. It’s clear that the Undertaker hasn’t forgotten — or forgiven — that loss! The Undertaker hit a choke slam and followed it up with a pair of his trademark Tombstone Piledrivers, laying out Brock and costing him the match.

Stephanie McMahon Interview: ‘SummerSlam’ Will Feature Fans’ Favorite Superstars

The Undertaker’s interference clearly sets up a bought at WWE’s major event, SummerSlam! The WWE rolls into the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on August 23rd. It’s going to be HUGE, as HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY found out while talking with the WWE’s Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon at the 2015 ESPYs.

When asked what surprises fans can expect at SummerSlam, Stephanie said “Well, I have to say that you will all be very excited with the card at SummerSlam. I think some of people’s favorites will be there!” She’s right, as the Undertaker is one of the most popular WWE Superstars in the company’s history.

SummerSlam is second only to Wrestlemania when it comes to star power. Speaking of “stars,” HollywoodLife.com mentioned the rumored match between Arrow’s Stephen Amell and the WWE’s Stardust (aka Cody Rhodes) and asked Stephanie why she’s interested in having celebrities come to the world of the WWE.

“I think it is very important to incorporate anyone and anything from pop culture!” Stephanie EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com. “Whether that is celebrities or entertainers, whether that is professional athletes — that is how you grow your audience. That is how you expose your brand to new people and to your product! And then hopefully, when those people start watching, you can hook them!”

We’re definitely hooked. We can’t see what other surprises are in store for SummerSlam. Brock v. Undertaker? And possibly Arrow v. Stardust? Who knows what could happen!

What did you think about the ending of WWE Battleground, HollywoodLifers? Are you excited for SummerSlam?
