Fear not, 'Grey's fans -- Scott Foley totally fears your pain over Patrick Dempsey getting killed off of the show. In fact, the 'Scandal' star is totally devastated! Scott Foley, 42, knows what it's like to be killed off of Grey's Anatomy, but that doesn't mean he can't be sad when another character bites the dust. For the first time since Patrick Dempsey, 49, ended his 11 season run on the series, his one-time co-star has revealed how truly upset he is about McDreamy's tragic death.

Scott Foley Devastated Over ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Death

“I watched it happen. I watched it live. It was crazy. I was on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and I couldn’t believe it,” Scott said when asked by E! Online how he felt about Derek Shepherd’s death on the show. See, he totally gets it!

“Let’s talk about that for a minute because I was blown away! Blown away. And I thought they did it so well. Like all the voice-over stuff. I was crazy for it. I thought it was great!”

As you might remember, Scott once had a reoccurring role on seasons 7 and 8 Grey’s as Henry Burton, the husband of Dr. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver). Unfortunately, his character died in surgery when Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) attempted to remove a tumor from his heart. So sad!
