‘Revenge’: Margaux’s The Worst Villain — Why She Needs To Go
1. Daniel’s gone — what’s the use?
Margaux’s only true purpose over the past two seasons was the fact that she was involved with Daniel (Joshua Bowman). Don’t even get me started on their non-existent chemistry. So when Daniel died, I was like, “Does that mean Margaux’s gone, too?” Yes, she’s pregnant with his baby, but I refuse to believe that until I see a paternity test. Soap opera 101, y’all.
2. I don’t get her revengenda.
Okay, so I know that she thinks Emily killed Daniel. However, she barely has anything to go on. I’ve always thought she was jealous of Emily, so Margaux’s revengenda has Emily envy written all over it. Plus, let’s not forget the fact that it was Emily who was there for Daniel during his final moments.
3. There are more villains to explore (i.e. Victoria, anyone).
When it comes to a soapy drama like Revenge, I want a big bad villain. Victoria is obviously my evil queen, and there’s nothing better than watching her and Emily go at it. Seeing Margaux try and destroy Emily’s life seems like child’s play.
4. SHE’S MESSING UP JACK’S LIFE.
During the March 15 episode, Margaux managed to have Jack arrested for drunk driving. I can think of no better reason for Emily to take down Margaux than to get retribution for hurting Jack. The moral compass of Revenge has had a tough time lately — thanks, Emily — and doesn’t deserve Margaux’s misplaced wrath.
5. She won’t be able to take down Emily.
Margaux should just quit while she’s ahead. I know Emily’s just waiting until the last minute because she doesn’t want to hurt Margaux for Daniel’s sake but just go ahead and spare me. This will only end badly for Margaux.
Well, if you believe what I’m saying, our wish of a Margaux departure may be coming soon. In the preview for the next episode, Margaux gets hit by a car!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Margaux should go? Let me know!
