‘The Challenge’: Hold On To Your Allies — ‘Battle Of The Exes 2’ Recap

After last week ended with 'To Be Continued' and a huge catfight, we knew that 'The Challenge' was getting down to the wire -- emphasis on wire this week. Wes and Theresa headed into The Dome against Leroy and Nia -- both teams were insanely fired up, but while Wes has the experience under his belt, could he physically take down Leroy?

And Just Like That, Everything Changes

With an on-contact relay race, things were getting messy fast. In round one, Nia and Leroy took Wes and Theresa out. It actually wasn’t even close, and Wes ended up needing a doctor. Since Leroy had at least 20 lbs. on him, it wasn’t surprising that he needed someone to look at his neck after the hit.

However, he didn’t want to give up, so he tried again — but Le wasn’t about to go easy on him. Once again, he justlaid down, and Le beat him. Theresa couldn’t take down Nia but really gave it her all and totally showed how strong she was. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough.

It was shocking to see that they were going home since just the day before they were running thingsuntil Bananas and Nany returned.

Hang On Tight

So, it was on to the last challenge before the final — and it was a terrifying one. The teams had to slide down ropes, then transfer to another rope hanging above a highway. It was actually terrifying to watch so I can’t even imagine how scared they were!

“I left three things dangling — I left my partner, I left my dignity, and I believe I left my manhood up there,” Johnny said after he fell and let out a very girly scream. It was Leroy and Nia who landed at the bottom even though Leroy got down all five ropes, but as a team they didn’t get far at all. Sarah and Jordan won it all, and had to pick the team going in against Nia and Leroy, right then.

They’ve had an alliance with Banany throughout, so Bananas felt completely confident — until Sarah shocked everyone and threw them in! Even Jordan, who hates Johnny, didn’t want to do it. However, I have to say — why is Johnny so shocked and disturbed? He’s done everything he can over the years to keep winning, including stabbing people in the back. So, what’s the difference?

Sure, the rookies don’t deserve a free ride — they literally haven’t gone in once, but it looks like Jay and Jenna will head to the finals with Sarah and Jordan anyway. Now we just have to see if it’ll be Leroy and Nia or Nany and Bananas joining them.
