‘The Challenge’: Nany & Johnny Bananas Return

Right in the beginning of the episode, TJ invited the crew back to The Dome — and brought in Zach and Jonna V Bananas and Nany. Needless to say, Banany won and returned to a house that was NOT so thrilled.

Johnny’s ally, Leroy, had since flipped to Wes‘ side, totally disappointing Bananas. But of course the most shocked pair were Theresa and Wes.

It didn’t help that in the next challenge, they lost – and were set to head in against Leroy and Nia. This of course ignited a huge fight between Hurricane Nia and Nany, and left the episode TBC. But let’s rewind to the moment the cast found out the dreaded team was returning.

The Twist That Shocked All

For Jordan, a long time enemy of Johnny, he “knew that motherf—er” was coming back from the moment TJ announced the twist — And he wasn’t thrilled since without Bananas, the house had “no drama.”

As for Theresa, she was “speechless.”

“I was just so sad,” she told us about their return. “It was like, we were so happy! The whole house was kind of getting along. We had the upstairs and then we had the downstairs when Bananas was around, and then as soon as he left everyone kind of mixed and mingled! It was just a different vibe, so that’s what was so traumatizing.”

However, that seems like the complete opposite reaction that Nany remembers.

“Honestly, I expected to go back into that house and it be the same way it was when I left: everybody just hating me,” Nany told us. “Surprisingly, we walked back into that house, and Wes and Teresa had burned so many bridges by the time we got back, that everyone was like, ‘YES, THEY’RE HERE.’ They wanted us out so bad and now we’re back and they need us here.”

Wes: Scared Now?

I have to quickly point out that when we spoke to Wes, he denied being afraid at all, including when the return happened.

“I don’t know what fear is,” he said. “I’ve never been scared in my life and it’s definitely not about a man named Bananas. Like, let’s be real. There’s nicknames all over the world that very well might strike my heart, like Scar or Thor or something else like a biker name, but Bananas is not one that induces fear.”

Wait, everyone else heard him say he was scared right? Just making sure! Are you happy with the return of Bananas and Nany? Let me know!
