Zendaya’s Selfie Tips — I Take ‘Up To 50’ Photos
Zendaya always seems to have the most up-to-date beauty looks, but she revealed to Beauty High that she doesn’t follow trends! “I don’t really believe in trends necessarily because I feel like whatever you like, do it all year long… I just go with whatever look that I’m having that day. Inspiration for the makeup or hair kind of comes along with the outfit.”
With such a unique style, we can believe that Zendaya marches to the beat of her own drum, and according to her 5.3 million Instagram followers, she takes the best selfies in town! She shared with StyleCaster that there’s actually a tenchnique to her simple selfies:
“Lighting, people — always find good lighting! Face toward the window… Find your angles. Take some time one day, look in the mirror, and look at the different angles of your face… so find your sweet spot. And pick the right filters. Don’t go crazy and bump up the exposure so much, or you’ll become a blob. People want to see your face — you’re beautiful.”
Easy enough, right? Not even! Zendaya admitted that she takes multiple flicks before finding one she likes. “Oh, it can be up to 50. It can be a good day where I am just like ‘Oh snap, I got that in the first three’ or it can be like, ‘I should just quit.'”

Zendaya’s Beauty Secrets Revealed
It seems like Zendaya is willing to try just about any look, and she revealed to StyleCaster that she loves taking risks with her look. “Style-wise, I am fearless… Everything kind of happens very organically.” She was definitely fearless when she rocked faux dreadlocks to the Oscars and sparked up some controversy from Giuliana Rancic‘s harsh comments.
Whether she’s rocking her gorgeous waves, a sexy pixie cut or edgy dreads, her beauty routine is rather simple. She shared that she likes “to do my eyes first and then do my face, so all the fallout doesn’t get all over my face makeup,” and it seems to be working, because her makeup always looks gorgeous in her selfies!
