Beyoncé: Maya Rudolph’s ‘SNL’ 40th Anniversary Skit —  Does Spot On Impression

Maya definitely has Queen Bey mastered — with the wind in her hair and all. The hilarious comedian returned to the SNL stage as Beyoncé and sang her hits “Halo” and “Drunk In Love” — but of course changed the lyrics to go with the 40-years theme!

Wearing tights and a glittered short dress with a low and flowing wig, Maya totally nailed her look completely — and this is not the first time she has portrayed the icon.

Joining Martin on stage, Maya took a look back at some of the best musical acts to grace the stage with the help of “Garth and Kat” as well as Bill Murray who returned the non-existent, but hilarious theme song to Jaws.

Most recently Maya returned to the stage in May of 2014 to give an “official” statement after Beyoncé’s highly publicized fight between Jay Z and her sister Solange in an elevator. Before that, she did her best Beyoncé in 2012 with cast member Jay Pharoah by her side as Jay.

Following Maya’s incredible impression, Twitter blew up with compliments over her performance.

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Did you think Maya’s imitations was spot on? Let us know your thoughts below!
