Ian took to his Instagram on Jan. 18 to post an adorable pic of his and Nikki’s horses’ collars, and of course HollywoodLife.com couldn’t help but notice Millie and Eagle‘s new shared last name — REED-SOMERHALDER! Naturally we wondered whether this meant that Nikki would be taking Ian’s last name too and now we have the EXCLUSIVE answer.
“She will be taking Ian’s name and it will be with the hyphen. It is important to him for her to take his name and she is looking forward to adding his name and making it her official name once they get married,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “They had a conversation about it and decided that is what they will do when they get married.”
Aww, we think it’s so sweet that Nikki wants to be Mrs. Reed-Somerhalder! Especially since it means the world to him.
