Alexandria Chery’s Mysterious Death: Bed Sheets & Other Items Missing From Her Room
The case of Alexandria’s disappearance on Monday, July 28, is truly unsettling.
New details about the state of the missing teen’s bedroom from the day she went missing in Orange County, Fla. suggest that something terrible may have happened to Alexandria before she went missing.
Orange County Police Sheriff Jerry Demings has revealed that Alexandria’s mother, Rosalie, has been “extremely cooperative” since her daughter went missing. It was her mother who discovered that Alexandria was missing when she returned home from work and found her daughter’s room in a state of disarray, reports the New York Daily News.

Not only was Alexandria missing, but her bed sheets had also been removed and were nowhere to be found. Other items were also missing and/or out of place, but there was also a truly disturbing discovery made underneath Alex’s bed: a pair of underwear that allegedly belonged to Rosalie’s longtime boyfriend, Sanel Saint Simon, 43.
The room also smelled of bleach, and reports of splattered blood had reportedly been found throughout the apartment. There is no confirmation of whether or not that blood belonged to either Sanel or Alex.

Sadly, Alex’s devastated uncle told reporters on Saturday, Aug. 2, that they believe the badly decomposed body found in Osceola County just the day before belongs to their little girl.
Sanel Is Being Held On 2 Charges Related To Alex’s Disappearance
Despite the fact that Rosalie has been cooperative with investigators, her boyfriend is being extremely resistant.
Sanel is the only suspect in Alex’s disappearance, and just two days after she went missing he was arrested and charged with two misdemeanors: charged with providing false information to a law enforcement officer and attempted destruction of evidence.
FYI: As of Monday, Aug. 4 Orange County Police Department upgraded Sanel’s charges from misdemeanor to felony, and they have asked prosecutors to remove his bond all together.
It has also been reported that Alex once told her cousin that she was afraid of Sanel, and that she found him to be “creepy.”
When Sheriff Demings was asked whether or not they believe any sexual abuse occurred before Alex’s disappearance, but he stated that there was “no indication” of those circumstances just yet. However, the Sheriff has assured Alex’s family that he and his team will piece together this horrific tragedy and find out exactly what happened to Alex.
So sad. Our thoughts and condolences remain with Alex’s family during this very difficult time.
