Kendrick Sampson: ‘Next Role’ Is Criminal Jeremy Meeks

Kendrick Sampson, who played Jesse on The Vampire Diaries, tweeted a message to his dedicated fans on June 20. “My next role. ,” Kendrick tweeted alongside a photo of Jeremy. We gotta admit — Kendrick DOES have a lot of physical similarities to the most famous criminal right now.

Kendrick already has the buzzed hair. He has the tall, buff body, too! One thing Kendrick doesn’t have any of Jeremy’s tattoos (including a tear drop tattoo on his face). Since Kendrick tweeted his funny “next role” message, he’s been retweeting and responding to people who agree with him! When one fan tweeted  to Jeremy that he’d be a “good choice for the lead” in a Lifetime movie about Jeremy, Kendrick responded with, “haha high hopes!”

It looks like Kendrick was joking about the whole thing, but if a movie was made about Jeremy’s life, we actually can’t think of someone else who would do a better job in the role. Hollywood loves a riveting comeback story, so someone might be developing a movie or TV movie based on Jeremy’s life right this second!

Jeremy Meeks: Despite Crime, Family Insists He Gave Heart ‘To God’

Jeremy’s been in and out of lockup for 12 years. In 2002, he was convicted of grand theft from a person out of Solano County and sentenced to two years in state prison. In 2009, he was arrested again — and then of course he’s in jail right now, too. See his evolution into mugshot hottie here. Despite the criminal past, Jeremy’s niece insists he’s a good guy. “He has a past and because of it he is being stereotyped,” she told Mail Online. “He gave his heart to God, that is why he changed.”

Maybe Jeremy’s movie could focus on him cleaning up his life and getting away from crime for good?
