The biggest names in music, television, movies and sports will grace the orange carpet on March 29 at the 27th Annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
This year’s host will be Mark Wahlberg. An annual tradition of the Kids’ Choice Awards is showering celebrities with green slime. One of the most talked-about slimings of all time was Katy Perry, who was slimed in 2010 after opening a box on stage.

Previously, Russell Hicks, Nickelodeon’s president of content development and production told The Hollywood Reporter that the network is excited about having Mark on board to host the show.
“We are thrilled to welcome a superstar like Mark Wahlberg as he takes the helm as our master of ceremonies at the biggest kid event of the year,” Russell said. “We can’t wait for him to host and have lots of slime-filled fun with Hollywood’s biggest stars and our audience.”
