Karrueche Tran & Chris Brown Drama Put Aside — Assault Arrest Rekindles Romance
Given the circumstances, Chris, 24, and Karrueche, 25, really need each other right now, a source close to the aspiring model tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“Make no mistake, Chris needs her and she wants to be there for him,” the source reveals. “She will be with him to make sure he’s cool. With these circumstances, they’re both putting old issues behind them.”
“At the end of the day, they had a misunderstanding but that’s not an issue now that he’s in this situation,” the source adds.
Karrueche’s friends tell us she’s concerned for Breezy and his future and that she simply wants to be there to support him and help him get his life back on track.
“She wants to be there for him, to be a listening ear, to be a companion,” the source says. “She just wants to be there for him, with no expectations and nothing in return. It’s about him. She has nothing to gain.”

Chris Brown Charged With Misdemeanor Assault
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Chris was charged with misdemeanor assault on Oct. 28 in a Washington, DC. court, and released from jail without bail.
Chris pled not guilty to the charge and is required to stay 100 yards away from the alleged victim, Isaac Adams Parker, 20.
The singer was arrested on Oct. 27 for allegedly punching Isaac. Even though Chris’ charge was lowered from a felony to a misdemeanor, he could still face jail time because he’s still on probation stemming from the 2009 Rihanna assault case. If his probation is revoked, he could be looking at more than four years behind bars.
