Presenting Mr. & Mrs. Blackstock
“Here is a little video of our special day! Thanks to everyone for all of your well wishes!!!” Kelly tweeted Oct. 22. “And a HUGE thanks to my videographer @weisseubanks for capturing the day so perfectly!”
The video really is close to perfect, giving viewers an intimate peek into Kelly and Brandon’s special day at Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tenn. As the couple chose not to have guests at the wedding, there is no one in the video except Kelly; Brandon; and his two kids, Savannah, 12, and Seth, 6, who served as adorable witnesses.
The happy couple pecks cutely by a stream and slow dances on a dock, all set to Patty Griffin’s moving ballad, “Heavenly Day.” Later, Brandon rows Kelly across a lake, and the two lovebirds stroll together through lush green fields, with Kelly wearing Brandon’s blazer draped over the shoulders of her stunning Temperley London dress. Aww! Could they be any cuter?
Nothing but smiles and snuggles in this video! Kelly and Brandon, 35, are clearly very much in love.
Going Public With A Private Wedding
Initially, Kelly was planning a big-bash wedding, but due to busy schedules, she and Brandon ended up scrapping that plan in exchange for an ultra-intimate, no-guest elopement. Kelly didn’t even invite her mom!
This could’ve caused serious wedding drama, but the “Since U Been Gone” singer’s momma, Jeanne Taylor, was very understanding, stating “[Kelly] was so afraid we might be upset. But we were fine with it. I had known that she was under a lot of stress. And we just wanted her to be happy and not stressed out. I think the biggest thing for us to do was to allow her to do what she wanted to do.” Wow, what a cool mom!
Well, at least Kelly’s family, and all her fans for that matter, get to see a piece of this beautiful day now thanks to this super romantic video by Weiss Eubanks Films. I don’t know about you, but I plan on watching multiple times.
What do you think of the video Hollywood Lifers? Does it set your hearts a-flutter?
