Rider Strong: Shawn Hunter Marries Alexandra Barreto
The couple exchanged their vows at a summer camp in Oregon, a rep told Us Weekly. In fact, the whole celebration was camp-themed, with a ropes course, games and a talent show. And guests reportedly even slept in bunks after the reception!
“Let’s hope it doesn’t rain too much,” Rider joked to Us before the wedding. But mostly Rider was gushing about his new bride.
“[I’m] incredibly lucky to be getting married to my best friend and partner-in-crime, Alexandra Barreto,” he said.
Alexandra wore a gorgeous Nicole Miller gown while Rider spiffed up in a suit from Rag & Bone. They were joined by a few famous friends, like The Following’s Natalie Zea and Scrubs’ Travis Schuldt. Unfortunately, some of his Boy Meets World co-stars weren’t able to make it because Danielle Fishel also got married this weekend!
“Bad news: Danielle Fishel’s getting married this same weekend, so I’m missing some of my Boy Meets World family (that was my fault, she chose the date first),” Rider said.
Rider and Alexandra first met while filming the TV show Pepper Dennis in 2006 and became engaged in Dec. 2012. We are so happy for the newlyweds and wish them the best!
