Future Disses Drake To ‘Billboard’ Magazine
There’s major drama afoot for Drake and Future!
The two are set to face off over a $1.5 million lawsuit after Drake demanded that Future, his supporting act on tour, be kicked off over a disrespectful Billboard article, Page Six reports. Drake’s tour starts Oct. 18 in Pittsburgh, Penn., for 39 scheduled concert dates with Miguel and Future — until now.
The battle started when Future went to the magazine’s office on Oct. 4 to play his new album, Honest, for editors. One editor, Erika Ramirez, wrote a story on Future’s visit, including everything he said in their interview — including some serious disses that were meant to stay off the record.
Future was quoted on Erika’s Twitter, saying:

“Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do.” – Future

Wow! We can’t believe that Future would slam Drake, who was nice enough to ask Future to tour with him! Erika’s tweets are still posted to her account, but the quotes were immediately yanked from the actual story.
Future responded to the article on Oct. 4, and tweeted that he was upset about his quotes being taken out of context.
Respect to Billboard, disappointed on being misquoted..always love for my fam Drizzy Drake

Looks like his public apology to Drake didn’t cut it, though. He reportedly demanded that Future should get cut from the tour, or else.
“[Drake] told his agent either Future gets fired, or he’ll fire him,” a source told the publication.
Something interesting to note is that Ticketmaster has pulled Future’s name from the lineup for Drake’s “Would You Like a Tour?” tour. Look’s like he got kicked off!

Future Will Reportedly File $1.5 Million Lawsuit Against Drake
Booting Future off of his tour doesn’t look like it will be so easy for Drake.
Future was reportedly fired soon after Drake found out about the article, but then, more negotiations to get the rapper back on tour occurred. Finally, Future allegedly canceled his spot on tour for good — and is filing a $1.5 million lawsuit against Drake for money he would have earned on tour, breaking down to about $40,000 per gig!
Wow — $1.5 million is no small sum!
“We regret that miscommunication surrounding Future’s recent visit, one that seemed clear to us was on the record, may have caused any trouble for the artist,” Billboard stated to Page Six.
The feud between Drake and Future sounds really ugly — and we wonder if it will get worse once Future officially files his lawsuit!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Was Future right to speak his mind regarding Drake, or was Drake right to be furious? Sound off!
