Christina, 32, confirmed the news with Us Weekly on Feb. 1 while at The Grove in L.A., where she was helping unveil the Make Up For Ever Remix Make Up Bag and Make Up For Ever Mobile Tour. She and James met on the set of her canceled ABC series Pan Am, where he worked as a dolly grip. The two began dating in February of 2012.
Speculation of an engagement has circled the couple ever since Christina was seen wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring in October of 2012, but she declined to comment on any of them. Until now. “Yeah,” she told the magazine. “[We got engaged] a couple months back.”

Though the announcement arrives just before Valentine’s Day, don’t expect any huge plans for the couple! “Honestly, I was trying to think of that before, I can’t remember a single Valentine’s Day!” she said. “I personally just don’t think I’ve ever made a big deal about Valentine’s Day. I mean. I like to get like flowers.”
“I worked so much last year that I just really wanted to have some time off to just kind of live,” she continued. “You kind of need to take time to be a real person.”
This will be the actress’ first marriage. She was previously engaged to actor Owen Benjamin, though they split in June of 2009. James has worked on more than 40 films and TV shows, including Sex and the City 2, Nurse Jackie, Baby Mama, and What Happens in Vegas.
