‘Bachelor’ Sean Lowe Disses Emily Maynard — She Is Self-Absorbed

Ouch! Sean has hit out at Emily again, as he admits that she hurt him when she eliminated him from 'The Bachelorette.' Sean Lowe has called out Emily Maynard for hurting him on The Bachelorette. Is he not over that already? It's been a year! Plus, Sean is now the star of ABC's The Bachelor, where he gets to be the one who is fawned over by 25 hot, single ladies. In a new interview, Sean says that he is sick of dating girls that are "self-absorbed." Look away, Emily!

Sean Lowe Disses Emily Maynard

In a new video with Us Weekly, Sean talks about his Bachelor journey, and how he was worried that he would be reserved after his experience with Emily.

“I wasn’t too scared of getting hurt again,” says Sean. “I realize that, although I was hurt by Emily, it was healthy for me.”

Even though that is a dig at Emily, at least Sean is moving on. He takes a much more notable jab at her when he talks about how he is sick of dating self-absorbed girls.

“I don’t want a girl that’s self-absorbed,” says Sean. “Too many times I have run across girls that I think are great, and then they talk about themselves.”

Watch the video here. This is not the first time Sean has thrown shade at Emily, as he previously hit out at her in a tweet.

It is not just in video that Sean has dissed Emily, he has also done it via tweet! 

“Nervous about tomorrow nights rose ceremony. Hope @EmilyMaynard doesn’t send me home,” Sean tweeted on Jan. 13, followed by “Scratch that last tweet. Already happened.” Shockingly, Emily did not respond.

Why is Sean stirring an old pot? He and Emily had appeared to have moved on, especially when she tweeted him to wish him well with his new journey for love.

Emily wrote on Jan. 6: “Watching the 1st episode of The Bachelor.You all are going to love it!@SeanLowe09 is a great bachelor! Don’t forget to watch Monday night!” Sean then replied “@EmilyMaynard Thank you but I know I’ve got a hard act to follow.”

So why have things turned sour? If anything, Sean got the last laugh by coming in third on Emily’s season of The Bachelorette because now he has his own show and 25 hot women chasing after him — instead of him competing with a bunch of hunks for five minutes of Emily’s time!
