Sandy Hook First Grade Class — Photo Of Classroom Slain By Shooter Adam Lanza – Hollywood Life

Revealed: Photo Of First Grade Class Massacred By Adam Lanza

So sad. The last photo of a first grade class at Sandy Hook Elementary School shows 15 happy faces just months before they were all tragically killed by gunman Adam Lanza. Substitute teacher Lauren Rousseau was also killed along with the class. How tragic. Sandy Hook Elementary School will never be the same after gunman Adam Lanza, 20, violently attacked the school on Dec. 14 and gunned down 26 people, including 20 students. Almost one entire classroom was killed in the massacre, including substitue teacher Lauren Rousseau, 30 -- but the final class photo before the tragedy reveals the smiling faces that will forever live in our hearts.

Reading Time: 2 minute

Most of the children in the class photo have been identified as the ones who tragically perished, including Catherine Hubbard, Ana Marquez-Greene, James Mattioli, Grace McDonnell and Josephine Gay. Students Jack Pinto and Noah Pozner, who were also in the photo, were both laid to rest on Dec. 17.

One student in the class, Emilie Parker is missing from the picture, but was tragically killed during the massacre. Her father told the Daily Mail that she was not at school for picture day.

Emilie’s father spoke out in a press conference on Dec. 15, and said his daughter would be the first to forgive the shooter.

“My daughter Emilie would be one of the first ones giving her love and support to all of the victims, because that’s the kind of person she is” her heart-broken dad said. ”As the deep pain begins to settle in our hearts, we find comfort in the incredible person Emilie was and how many people she was able to touch in her short time on Earth.”

According to Good Morning America, slain student Jack Pinto was a huge New York Giants fan. After hearing this, Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz wrote “R.I.P. Jack Pinto,” “Jack Pinto, my hero,” and “This one is 4 U!” on his cleats and gloves before playing the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Dec. 16. Prior to the game, Victor tweeted the photos, along with his condolences.

Such a tragedy. Our thoughts are with the victims’ families at this time.
