During his AMA performance on Nov. 18, Justin basically dedicated his song “As Long As You Love Me” to Selena. Later, they two left hand-in-hand and went to the after party at Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood.
That night, they both went back to Selena’s house.
The next night, on Nov. 19, JB & Sel went on a group date to one of their favorite restaurants Benihana. E! News reports Selena was trying to hide her face as she was snapped by paparazzi. Justin arrived in gym shorts but left wearing black pants — our spies tells us he arrived at the dinner after playing basketball with friends at Equinox West LA.
This dinner seemed to go much smoother than their date on Nov. 16 where Selena stormed out on Justin after only 10 minutes.
As we previously reported, a source close to the situation told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY why Selena skipped the awards show: “It’s not that Selena didn’t want to come to the AMAs, she just didn’t want all the attention to be on their relationship. She wanted it to be about the music and let Justin just be there for his fans. She still loves Justin. The love is still there, they just need to disappear to an exotic island together.”
We also told you that Justin really wanted to make things right with Selena before he went back on tour — which just so happens to be today, Nov. 20.
