But it didn’t take long for the the pre-teen to come to his senses about the 38-year-old Colombian beauty who plays his overprotective mom on the show that’s now in its second season. “I thought that would be so weird because I work with her everyday and she’s like a real mom to me and it would be weird if I had a crush on my mom. So I was like, ‘I’m just gonna scratch that.'”

While he’s no longer in puppy love with Sofia, Rico does rave about her acting abilities. “As Gloria she plays it on cue but over-the-top,” he laughs. And he’s not the only guy who thinks Sophia is hot. “I typically get a lot of males that come up to me and say, ‘So you know your mom? I don’t know how to put it but, wow, your mom is really pretty’ and I say, ‘Yeah I know,'” he reveals.
