2021 White House Christmas Tree lighting ceremony — Christmas has arrived at the White House! On December 2, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden hosted the National Christmas Tree lighting at the Ellipse near the White House in Washington D.C. The festive event featured performances from several famous singers, and served as the official kick off of the holiday season at the White House. President Biden dresed for the occassion in a black suit and tie, while his gorgeous wife wore a festive red coat, black scarf and black boots. The tree was absolutely massive and lit up with lights, decorations, and ornaments. Smaller trees that represented the U.S. states and territories surrounded the big tree. They were all decorated in ornaments by students from across the country.
