Born in Virginia, this former National Security Agent – really! – began her standup career in the 1990s, working the comedy circuit before getting her big break opening for Chris Rock at Caroline’s Comedy Club. She joined the writing team for The Chris Rock Show and made many appearances on the program. From there, her career took off.
She appeared on episodes of The Drew Carey Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm and more. She was one of the stars of The New Adventures of Old Christine, and had a recurring role on Broad City. Her talents have also been on the big screen, appearing in Nutty Professor II, Evan Almighty, Snatched and more.
