Violett Beane — ‘God Friended Me’ star Violett Beane stopped by HollywoodLife’s portrait studio in New York City for exclusive photos. The hit CBS show returns for season 2 on Sept. 29. She stars as Cara Bloom alongside Brandon Micheal Hall, Joe Morton, Suraj Sharma, Adam Goldberg, and more. The series films on location in New York City. As part of Cara’s storyline in season 2, Violett traveled to Paris to film scenes. Before ‘God Friended Me,’ Cara was best known for her role as Jesse Wells/Jesse Quick on The CW series ‘The Flash.’ She also had major recurring roles as Lily on the FOX series ‘The Resident’ and as Taylor on the critically-acclaimed HBO series ‘The Leftovers.’ Violett played Markie Cameron in the 2018 horror film ‘Truth or Dare’ alongside Lucy Hale, Tyler Posey, Hayden Szet, and Landon Liboiron.
